Rogelli Distance Overshoes

The Rogelli Distance overshoes are designed for cyclists who want to protect their feet in chilly and changeable weather conditions. With a temperature range of 5°C to 15°C, they are an ideal accessory for cool mornings in spring and autumn and for rides where the weather conditions may change. The coated fleece upper part retains heat and protects against road spray and light rain; the taped seams increase protection against water ingress.

The zip-free design creates a sleek, streamlined look. There are no moving parts that can wear out or come loose, which enhances the Distance's durability. The seamless cuffs with silicone strips on the inside ensure a neat fit over your bib tights. The bottom is reinforced with textured neoprene and a rubber panel at the toes – the areas of overshoes that wear out first.

The Velcro fastening at the bottom secures the overshoe firmly around your cycling shoe. Reflective details increase your visibility on early morning rides or at dusk.

Coated fleece upper

The foot and leg material consists of 50% neoprene and 50% nylon with a coating that repels road spray. The fleece texture retains heat without making the overshoe feel too heavy or bulky. It is suitable for dry to slightly wet conditions at 5 to 15°C.

Reinforced neoprene sole and rubber toe panel

The sole is made from a blend of polyester, SBR and spandex, a sturdy combination that withstands friction from the road surface. The rubber toe panel protects the shoe cover's most vulnerable part: the area that makes most contact with the ground when walking, getting on your bike and riding.

Taped seams and seamless cuffs

The seams are taped from the inside to reduce the amount of moisture that can penetrate through the stitching. The seamless cuffs with silicone strips on the inside neatly seal the overshoes against your bib tights and prevents cold air from entering through the top.

Compatible with:

• Road cycling shoes with smooth soles – the most common combination with this type of overshoes;
• Select your overshoe size based on your cycling shoe size in the order box. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one for a better fit.

Not compatible with:

• MTB shoes with a pronounced sole tread. The studs will quickly damage the underside of the overshoes.
• Shoes with a very wide or high instep that fall outside the normal road cycling shoe profile. The overshoes are designed for the tight fit of road cycling shoes.
• Indoor spinning shoes – this is an outdoor product.

Look on the inside of your cycling shoe for the EU shoe size and select the corresponding size in the order box. If you have wide feet or are wearing thick thermal socks, go for the larger size to ensure there is enough room.

How to keep your Rogelli Distance overshoes in good condition:

1. Wash on a cold cycle and inside out: Select a cold cycle and turn the overshoes inside out to protect the coating and the taped seams.
2. Use a mild detergent: Do not use bio-detergent or fabric softener. Fabric softener will damage the water-repellent coating.
3. Do not bleach or dry-clean: Both will damage the neoprene and the coating.
4. Hang to dry: Do not put the overshoes in the tumble dryer; heat damages the neoprene and the tape on the seams.

• Put the overshoes on before getting on your bike, not vice versa. As they don’t have zips, it is easier to pull them over shoes that aren’t yet clipped into the pedals.
• The Velcro fastening at the bottom works best when it is dry. After a wet ride, rinse the Velcro briefly and let it dry; otherwise, it will become caked with sand and lose its grip.
• Check the rubber toe reinforcement regularly for wear and tear. It is the part that will wear out first; replacing it in good time prevents the neoprene underneath from becoming damaged.
